Florida Filly (2f Sioux Nation – Cmonbabylitemyfire, by Piccolo) took another step forward on Saturday to record back-to-back wins for Iain Jardine and owner James Fyffe.
Sold by Castletown Stud as a yearling on behalf of Grange Stud, the daughter of Sioux Nation maiden all to win her maiden last month and was sent off favourite to follow up over course and distance. Leading once again, this time under Paul Mulrennan, the bay was shaken up two furlongs from home and was ridden a furlong later. Keeping on strongly inside the final furlong, she scored by two and a quarter lengths.
