A Camelot half-brother to Sea Of Class was widely touted as a highlight of the Goffs Foal Sale and did not disappoint, with the Castletown-consigned bay selling for €280,000.
Born in late May, the colt has a long way to go to match his illustrious siblings, but successful buyer MV Magnier was evidently impressed by his clear potential. As well as the ill-fated champion filly, his siblings also include two winners of the Group 1 Prix Lydia Tesio, as well as Italian champion three-year-old filly Cherry Collect.
The Castletown Stud consignment also proved popular with pinhookers, including Brendan Holland’s Grove Stud, who bought a No Nay Never colt for €70,000.
