Sunday saw Brigante Sabino (4c Zoffany – Natural Bloom, by Galileo) gain his third Stakes success in the Listed Premio Regione Toscano in Pisa.
The Alduino Botti-trained bay was sent off favourite, with his two previous Listed wins having come over the same trip of a mile and a half, and a furlong shorter. Dario Vargiu partnered Brigante Sabino to win by a nose, as his stablemate completed a 1-2 for the team.
Brigante Sabino is owned by Mario Sansoni and was sold by Castletown Stud as a foal on behalf of breeder Sir Robert Ogden.
