Tattersalls Ireland September Yearling Sale Draft

Group 2 Railway Stakes winner MEDICINE JACK is among the Castletown Stud graduates sold at the Tattersalls Ireland September Yearling Sale. Sold for €28,000 to trainer Ger Lyons, the son of Equiano also won the Waterford Testimonial Stakes. The sale has been relocated to Newmarket this year, where Castletown Stud will offer four quality yearlings.

Lot 65 is from the first crop of ‘Ballydoyle Bullet’ Caravaggio and is a half-brother to dual Stakes winner Flying Fairies. He is out of a Sadler’s Wells mares, who have produced an impressive 18 Group 1 winners by stallions from the Storm Cat line. View video here.

Lot 91 is a well-bred filly from the first crop of globetrotting superstar Highland Reel. Out of a black-type three-parts sister to Clodovil, she is a half-sister to a Stakes horse and to the dam of a black-type performer. View video here.

Lot 123 a smart son of Mastercraftsman, out of a black-type Dubawi mare, from the family of Animal Kingdom. The grey is also a half-brother to Group 2 performer Drummer and Stakes filly Dalila. View a video of the colt here.
