Son Of Camelot Makes Successful Step Up In Class

Saturday saw House Of Kings (4g Camelot – Celestial Bow, by Raven’s Pass) gain his second success for Anne-Sophie Crombez and Craig Buckingham in the Prix Eulalie at Compiegne.

A two-year-old winner when trained by Clive Cox, House Of Kings was later sold to current connections, for whom he first won at Chantilly in February. His latest start in the Class 1 conditions race marked a step up in class, the field of twelve including five Stakes horses, while he was dropping back in trip to seven furlongs. Driven out in the closing stages, he rallied to win by a neck under Tony Piccone.

House Of Kings was sold by Castletown Stud on behalf of breeders Grange Stud, selling to Rathasker Stud for 42,000gns as a foal at Tattersalls.
