Castletown Stud graduate Dolomit (3c Mastercraftsman – Douala, by Dubawi) extended his unbeaten record to three from three in Saturday’s Class 1 contest at Compiegne.
Trained by Peter Schiergen for owner/breeders Juergen and Ursula Imm, the son of Mastercraftsman won by an impressive four lengths on debut in April and followed up in a Class 2 race last month. Racing over ten furlongs once again at the weekend, he was partnered by Bauyrzhan Murzabayev to win by three parts of a length from the well-bred Jasperoid.
Another step up in class may now be on the cards for Dolomit, who was foaled and raised at Castletown Stud. His Highland Reel half-sister will be offered by Castletown Stud at Tattersalls Book 3.
