Castletown Stud graduate Ibiza Love (2f U S Navy Flag – Ibiza Dream, by Night Shift) shaped like a smart prospect when winning her second start in Saturday’s fillies’ maiden at Doncaster.
A promising third on debut last month, the Hugo Palmer-trained bay stepped up to an extended six furlongs at the weekend and was ridden to make all by Ben Curtis. Pushed along passing the two furlong pole, she was ridden approaching the final furlong and kept on well to win by a length and a half.
The Roudee Racing-owned winner was sold by Castletown Stud at the Goffs November Sale to Tradewinds and Glending.
